Terms of Service

1. Booking and Acceptance

Booking an appointment or approving work authorizes VC Detailing to perform the selected services subject to these terms and the applicable booking policy.

2. Deposit

A $50 deposit is required to reserve an appointment unless otherwise stated. The deposit is applied toward the final service balance.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-shows, may result in the deposit being forfeited. If VC Detailing must reschedule because of weather, safety conditions, or an issue on our end, the deposit remains credited toward the new appointment.

4. Estimates and Final Pricing

Quoted prices are based on the information available before service. Vehicle size, condition, contamination, pet hair, stains, odors, excessive buildup, paint defects, water spots, or other conditions may require additional labor. Any additional work and charges will be explained before that additional work is performed.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate vehicle and service information.
• Provide lawful access to the vehicle and location at the scheduled time.
• Remove valuables, cash, fragile items, firearms, medications, and other sensitive personal property before service.
• Disclose known hazards, damage, aftermarket modifications, electrical issues, leaks, loose trim, failing coatings, or other conditions that may affect service.
• Ensure the work area is reasonably safe and accessible for mobile service.

6. Existing Damage and Vehicle Condition

VC Detailing may document the vehicle's condition before work begins. Existing scratches, chips, dents, cracked or loose trim, failing clear coat, damaged upholstery, worn materials, electrical issues, previous repairs, or other pre-existing conditions are not caused by the detailing service merely because they become more visible after cleaning.

7. Results and Limitations

Detailing improves appearance and condition, but not every stain, odor, scratch, etching mark, defect, or damaged material can be safely removed. Some conditions may require repair, replacement, wet sanding, advanced correction, or another specialized service beyond the booked package.

8. Paint Correction, Water Spots, and Specialty Work

Correction and restoration services are performed with the goal of improving appearance while preserving the surface. Deep defects, thin paint, prior body work, delicate finishes, or damaged materials may limit what can be safely corrected. VC Detailing may stop or modify a process if continuing could create unreasonable risk.

9. Mobile Service and Weather

Mobile appointments may be affected by rain, wind, extreme heat, unsafe conditions, access limitations, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may reschedule or modify an appointment when necessary to protect the vehicle, customer, technician, or equipment.

10. Payment

The remaining balance is due when the service is completed unless another arrangement was approved in advance. Additional approved services are added to the final balance.

11. Photos and Documentation

VC Detailing may take photos or video for condition documentation, quality control, and service records. Separate permission should be obtained where appropriate before using personally identifying customer information in advertising.

12. Personal Property

Customers should remove valuables and sensitive items before service. VC Detailing is not responsible for ordinary loss or damage to undisclosed fragile, loose, or improperly secured personal property except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

13. Website and Booking Availability

We may update services, pricing, availability, policies, and website content. Online booking availability is not guaranteed until the appointment is successfully reserved and any required deposit is completed.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VC Detailing is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from a service or website issue. Nothing in these terms waives rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived.

15. California Law

These terms are intended to be governed by applicable California law for services performed in California.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as services, policies, or business practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
